An upside of Sia’s admitted camera-shyness and stage fright is her ability to recruit special guests. From Dance Moms star Maddie Ziegler to Shia LaBeouf and Kristen Wiig, the singer has used a number of famous faces as vessels for her emotional music.

Last night, Natalie Portman joined their ranks on The Tonight Show, donning a very-Sia wig and black onesie to play percussion in a live rendition of “Iko Iko.” The Roots and Jimmy Fallon backed Sia up on the 1964 Dixie Cups classic, in typically lively and charming form.
The format is usually reserved for Fallon’s “Classroom Instruments” series but the band raised its style points with a monochromatic backdrop. It wouldn’t be a Sia performance if it didn’t ooze high-concept simplicity. Later on, the singer performed “Cheap Thrills” from her forthcoming album This Is Acting.
