Friday marks new music from Australian singer Sia. Following her hits “Chandelier” and “Elastic Heart” off 2014’s album 1000 Forms of Fear, the singer will release the first single from her upcoming album, This is Acting.
Titled “Alive,” the single is told from Adele’s perspective, since Sia originally wrote the track for the British songstress. In anticipation of the song’s release, Sia revealed the artwork today, which showcases her famously blonde wig now dyed half-black (via Digital Spy).

As Sia explains it, she wrote the majority of the album’s songs for other artists. “I’m calling it This Is Acting,” she said, “because they are songs I was writing for other people, so I didn’t go into it thinking, ‘This is something I would say’. It’s more like play-acting. It’s fun.”
This is Acting should arrive later this year, but the exact date has not yet been announced.
